Match 5 – Tom vs Rich
The Normans Again formed up their “Bastion”, this time in the rocky ground. The Vikings came head on, determined to weather the hail of arrows to make it into close quarters
Careful use of cover mitigates the Norman ranged attacks – Toms Warlord, Berzerkers and Hearthguard elites move through the forest to close on the Norman Left
Rich is forced to reposition his Cavalry reserve after taking a beating on his left. As they reposition, blocking the Norman ranged units, the Vikings trap springs and the viking warriors storm forward, beating the mounted normans in combat
The Viking warlord survives, but the battle is lost on a very narrow margin of casualties. Pictured below the stars of the show.
