As part of my daily commute I spend roughly 2 hours a day on either a train, bus, or the tube, I figured I could do with some entertainment whilst travelling. I already own an Android Smartphone, and have been impressed by the Android software platform and the Market. Picking up a cheap android tablet seemed the logical choice. Reading round some reviews, the general consensus is that the Hannspad is great value for money, discounted from its original £350 price point to £150, I couldn’t say no. However just about every review said that this was great hardware let down by a poor user interface. Never to be one to back down from a hacking challenge I purchased one of these with the intent of Rooting it and installing a customised OS to make better use of that hardware.
